INGREDIENTS
2 eggs, separated
1 c sugar
juice from 1 lemon (or bottled)
gated peel from 1 lemon, optional
1 T flour
1 c milk
pinch salt |

DIRECTIONS

Mix sugar, egg yolk, flour,
salt, lemon juice, and lemon peel.

Beat well.

Add milk.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg
whites.

Bake in 300° oven over water
until browned.
