Jacqueline Mae Stoddard was born in Detroit, Michigan September 22, 1944. She spent most of her growing-up years in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She attended the Willow Run High School.		Randal Bartly Betts was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada May 28, 1942. He spent most of his growing-up years in the village of Rosemary, Alberta and attended Rosemary High.
Bartly and Jaqui met at Brigham Young University and married while still in school. Since then, they have lived in Provo, Utah; Salt Lake City, Utah; Broken Bow, Nebraska; Rocky Plain, Alberta; Edmonton, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta, Rosemary, Alberta; Fort Worth, Texas, Kirkland, Washington, and currently, Snohomish, Washington. They have 10 children: Jessica Sonsel Rupp, near Index, Washington Kadin Thane Betts, in Dallas, Texas Eric Corbin Betts, in Salt Lake City, Utah Shawndra Lin Johnson, in Fort Worth, Texas Lusannah Marlane Vermeulen, near Monroe, Washington Ayrian Shalee Betts, near Snohomish, Washington Tandy Laurelle Imhoff, near Snohomish, Washington Damon Cayle Betts, in Snohomish, Washington Chantry D'leen Betts, in heaven Adam Jerrin Betts, in Snohomish, Washington
