The phrase “Commit random acts of kindness…” may be catchy and new, but these actions have a long history. A few such recorded happenings are:
  • Boaz instructing his workers to leave grain for Naomi to
    glean (Ruth 2:15-16).

  • The good Samaritan (Luke 10: 30-35).
  • Rahab helping the Israelites (Joshua 2).
  • Jesus feeding the multitudes (Matthew 14: 29-20, 15: 35-37).

No doubt about it. When you commit random acts of kindness you stand in good company!

It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that we cannot sincerely help another without helping ourselves.   —Anonymous
