The uniqueness of each
individual is what the war in heaven was all about, our agency to be
different. The value of the Gospel lies in the respect for the
individual, her agency and the talents and differences of each one. Like
a rose, the pattern is there but there are thousands of beautiful
variations on the theme, each one adding color and form in great
variety. The disciple of Christ follows the narrow way in order to
develop to the fullest that uniqueness. The handmaiden of the Lord
appreciates the other roses in the garden, learning to really see their
beauty, but not feeling envious of their difference, for she is
confident that she too can grow to her full potential in the rich soil
of Gospel principles.
He loves each one of us
as if there were only
one of us.
—St. Augustine
When people tell you
who you should be…
Just keep remembering
who you are!
Real friends are those who
when you’ve made a fool of yourself
Don’t feel that you’ve done
A permanent job.
Anyone can count the seeds
in an apple. . .
Only God can count the
apples in a seed. |
